Ministry (FFHM)

In 2007, forty-two, and in 2008,
thirty-three members of TEC traveled to Vicente Guerrero Baja California,
Mexico to serve for one week. FFHM
is a Christian orphanage that cares for eighty plus needy and/or abandoned
children. TEC volunteers engaged
in tasks such as painting, laying tile, child care, gardening, macadamia nut
production, roofing, evangelism outreach, computer training, IT support, sewing,

Super Sunday - Local
community outreach efforts have included an annual and/or semi-annual Sunday
where we take church to the
community by serving and helping organizations and agencies located in the
areas surrounding TEC. Volunteer
activities have included praise and worship, yard work/gardening, painting,
cleaning, arts and crafts, bingo games, dog walking, etc. The TEC family has volunteered at the

Circle Y Ranch
In 2009 members of TEC will volunteer at Circle Y
Ranch, a Christian summer camp located in Bangor, Michigan (about 90 minutes
from the South Suburbs) serving inner city youth throughout the Midwest with a
heavy concentration in Chicago, Illinois, and Detroit, Michigan.
Activities will include refurbishment and maintenance of selected camp buildings (i.e., painting, electrical work, laying tile, cleaning, etc.). Visit their website to learn more...
